We worked with the bride to find a style that met her requirements, chosing a fitted strapless bodice and an A-line skirt with organza overlay. A fitted corselette was first constructed and then an outer layer of embroidered linen-look fabric was applied on top. The bride designed her motif for the front of the bodice, which was then digitised and
embroidered onto the fabric before application. To cover the back seam a blanket of embroidered flowers was created and applied to overlap the seam and hide any fastenings.
The skirt was made up from the same linen-look fabric, but with an additional organza overlay. More embroidered flowers were applied over the zip to create continuity between the bodice and skirt. A matching wrap in linen-look fabric and organza was made for the evening.
