The process starts with a consultation, which is free of charge. You should bring along any sketches, pictures and samples that you have, and will discuss styles, fabrics and the fine details that you might want
on your dress. Once we have agreed on a design
your quote will be confirmed and we will give you an idea of the timescales involved. A deposit is due at this stage, which will depend on the style and details chosen.We then start to make up your dream dress. We will produce a number of rough versions of the dress and you will be given a password protected URL we will post pictures of the work as it progresses. From time to time you will be asked to come in for a fitting where we will make adjustments to the style, fit and details of the dress together with you. The number of fittings required will again depend on what is being made.
When everyone is happy with the mock version of the dress or outfit it is then made up in the final fabric, which may either have been purchase by you or ordered from our suppliers. There will then be a final fitting and your dress will be ready!
With waistcoats, cravats and ties, the process is not so formal. We can make these for you without the need for any fittings. All you need to do is provide a
few basic measurements for us and we can take it from there.
